Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based practice that can improve challenging behaviour, social, communication and learning skills. ABA involves assessment and intervention for people of all ages. ABA involves different phases which are individualized to the clients needs and focuses on the function (why) of the behaviours or difficulties and the interventions are built around this function.

ABA Therapy and Counselling Services

Our Therapist Laura has been trained in ABA and has experience in working with both children and adults with behavioural challenges. Laura has worked with individuals with varying disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), Intermittent explosive disorder (IED), among others. Laura has worked with children and adults who have experienced Trauma and who struggle to emotionally regulate. Laura has worked in multiple different settings including in home settings, in out of home care settings, in residential care and SIL placements.
